Security features

The optical security features are checked by a simple comparison of the images shown on the screen with the document presented. Up to 10 security features can be provided for verification. The number and choice of the security features vary from document to document. idenTT® shows patent security features which can be checked quickly, safely and discreetly, including the following: watermarks, laminates, photos, stamps, colour changes, holograms, UV features etc.

Verification of the control line for identification documents in line with ICAO

An effective feature is control digit verification according to an international ICAO-ISO standard. Nearly all passports contain a data code on the photo page, whose plausibility can be checked easily and quickly using idenTT®. One only has to enter the issuing data; the software works out the appropriate control line. In addition, the program calculates the plausibility of the issuing date and shows the age of the passport holder.
